Stark County District Library (Stark Library) serves residents across Stark County, Ohio, through a countywide system of 10 library locations, a mobile Bookmobile, and robust digital services. Our mission is to strengthen our community by connecting people to information, ideas, and opportunities that support lifelong learning, workforce development, and personal enrichment. We serve individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including children, teens, adults, families, job seekers, educators, entrepreneurs, and seniors.
Stark Library services are accessible in person at any of our locations, online through our website, and remotely via digital platforms. Anyone who lives, works, attends school, or owns property in Ohio is eligible for a FREE Stark Library card, which provides access to books, eBooks, audiobooks, databases, technology, programs, and learning resources. Many services—including programs, events, and in-library resources are available to the public without a library card.
More information about Stark Library, including upcoming programs, special initiatives, and community events, can be found on our website, through our monthly e-newsletters, and on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn). Information is also available at any library location or by speaking with library staff.
A successful outcome for Stark Library is a community where residents have equitable access to information, technology, and educational opportunities that improve quality of life and economic mobility. OhioMeansJobs centers can support these goals by partnering with Stark Library to connect job seekers with workforce resources, co-host employment and skills-based programming.
