I graduated from Tusky Valley High School and Buckeye Career Center’s welding program in 1978. I am retired from Ironworker Local 550, where I served as President and Business Agent. I continue to support Ironworkers and serve as a delegate with the East Central Ohio Building Trades Council.
After working in the field with Bill Sherer, I spent nine years in the office working to grow our membership and build a strong future for Ironworkers. I am always excited to see the Board develop new and expand existing programs that create opportunities for both business and labor.
A workforce challenge I am most passionate about addressing is keeping our young people in Ohio by helping them see the opportunities available right here at home. As Ohio continues to grow, we are seeing more opportunities for meaningful jobs and rewarding careers.
Outside of work, I enjoy participating in REFit classes to stay in shape. I also love gardening and working on the farm.
